Nice Device but Manual Could Explain More
This is my first time using a laser hair removal device, so these thoughts are based on my early impressions. The device needs to be used regularly over several weeks before you can really judge long term results, which is typical for at home hair removal.The device itself seems well constructed with a smooth, clean design that is comfortable to hold. The kit includes a razor and heavy duty protective glasses, which are very important because the light from these devices can be harmful if you look at it directly.The instruction manual is helpful overall and gives guidance on how long each treatment area should take. My spouse and I were confused at first by directions like “armpits, 2 minutes” because we assumed that meant holding the device over one spot for 2 minutes. In reality, you hold the button, wait for a couple of flashes, then move to the next section, and the total time for treating that whole area should be about 2 minutes rather than 2 minutes per single spot.One thing I wish the manual did better was explain the different number settings. I figured out that higher levels are stronger, but it is not very clear what the practical difference is between, for example, level 2 and level 6, or how to match the level to your skin and hair type. Clearer guidance on intensity levels would make this device easier for beginners to use confidently.

I was so thrilled to receive this hair remover! I am giving 5 starts for efficacy and functionality, but it takes a few tries to familiarize yourself with it and get into the groove of how to use it.It’s pretty much a plug and play device, but for anyone who has never tried this at home, it takes a minute to get through the instructions to fully understand how to tackle the hair removal properly.There are nine intensity modes and can be adjusted easily by buttons on the device itself. The glasses are really sturdy and completely block what the intense ‘bolt’ of light produces.I have been using this as directed, on a few small ares of my body to determine if it is working, and it is. So far, the hair is coming in sparse or not at all in the regions I’ve been testing.I find this hair removal system to be a very good value for the money. The one thing that would make it an even more stellar product would be revisions to the instructions for better clarity. Otherwise, the visible effects tell me it’s working as instructed.
