Great addition to the samsung health ecosystem.
I’ve had my ring for a while now and it has proven to be great. Going with the silver ring was a great choice, because the top coat (silver) is basically the same color as the metal (titanium) underneath, which means you really don’t notice scratches that much compared to the black and gold rings. I use mine mainly in conjunction with my Galaxy Watch 7, so that i can collect true 24/7 health data while retaining the freedom to take off my watch whenever I want. The ring is always there as a backup. Using them together also extends the battery life of the ring significantly. It only drains about 10% per day usually. The Ring worked great with my Note 20 Ultra, and my S25 Ultra after I upgraded. There are only a few minor complaints about the ring. The first is the concave design, which makes the edges of the ring more “pointy” than they really need to be, and it can dig into neighboring fingers under some circumstances. I kind of wish that they had gone with a more traditional convex design, but it’s ok. The other is the battery. Lithium batteries have their quirks, including certain charging habits that dramatically accelerate battery degradation, and these very tiny batteries are extra vulnerable to that. Leaving the ring at 100% or 0% for extended periods of time is practically a death sentence for the battery. I keep my ring always between 25-80% and I’ve been able to go a year with zero degradation whatsoever.

Battery Life Not As Expected
I am just shy of 1 year from my purchase and feel like I can now provide an accurate and real rating for the Samsung Galaxy ring. It all started out great and when I started wearing the ring it provided exactly what I was looking to get. And since I am a Samsung phone user I really liked the idea of the ring and the phone working togetherThe Fit: The fit of the ring has turned out to be very good and comfortable. I hardly know, or feel, that I am wearing it. It accurately counted my steps and movement. I loved that I could wear it all day and all night no matter what activity I was doing (working out, yard work, resting, etc). This is something I never felt I could do with a watch (besides I enjoy wearing mechanical watches). The App: The app is really easy to use and I find it helpful with tips and coaching for exercise and sleep. I does not bother me to go into the app to check status, but I also found the widget to be very useful to display my statistics on my lock screen. I was actually surprised how much information it shares about my sleep. I dont know its accuracy, but generally the sleep number is close to how I feel when I wake up. I feel like I get a lot of information without having to pay for a subscription. The Battery: This has been the disappointment. One of the selling points for me on this ring was the battery life and the need to only charge once per week. Well, that is how it started. I would charge the ring and then as the ring battery got to 10% or less I would get notifications on my phone to know when to charge it. After 4-5 months I noticed the ring would all of a sudden be “disconnected” and the ring battery was dead. I started to monitor it closely. The ring would charge to 100% but when it got to ~20-25% it would be dead. At around 6 months I reached out to Samsung for help but learned it was out of warranty and I had not purchased the extended warranty so no help. I am now approaching 1 year with the ring and I find that I have to charge it daily. Even then, it charges to 100% and as soon as i take it off the charger it drops to ~80%. Within 12 hours its down to ~50%. This is not the experience I was expecting in less than 1 year. Not sure how much longer the ring will last, but my next ring purchase will not be a Samsung.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Ring AI Smart Ring, Size 15
As a daily user of the Samsung Galaxy Ring (size 15, which fits my finger flawlessly), I can’t stop raving about how this AI-powered smart ring has elevated my health game. I rely on it to track my sleep and stress levels, and paired with the Samsung Health app for logging water intake, it’s become my go-to gadget. If you’re all-in on the Samsung ecosystem like I am, this sleek, futuristic ring integrates so seamlessly, it feels like an extension of my Galaxy phone and watch. The sleep tracking is a revelation. Every night, I slide on the ring, and by morning, the Samsung Health app delivers a detailed report: deep sleep duration, REM cycles, and even heart rate variability to gauge how well I’m recovering. It’s like having a sleep coach whispering, “Cut screen time by 30 minutes for better rest.” The stress monitoring is equally impressive – during tense work moments, the ring’s gentle vibration nudges me to breathe deeply, keeping me calm and focused. At just 2.3 grams, it’s so comfortable I barely notice it, even with my larger size 15 fit.The Samsung Health app takes this device to another level. I track my water intake (aiming for 3.5 liters daily), and the app ties it all together, showing how hydration impacts my sleep and stress scores. The Samsung ecosystem shines here – data syncs effortlessly to my Galaxy Watch for workouts and my phone for real-time updates. No lag, no fuss, just pure integration.Battery life lasts a solid week, and the titanium build is tough yet stylish, shrugging off scratches and handling water like a champ (perfect for my post-workout showers). Yes, it’s a premium purchase, but for the unmatched insights and sleek design tailored to my size 15 finger, it’s worth every cent. If you want discreet, powerful health tracking without a clunky wearable, the Galaxy Ring is a masterpiece. Five stars – I’m obsessed, and my healthier, better-rested self is grateful for Samsung’s brilliance!
